The Asia Pacific Infrastructure Forum (APIF) is committed to maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of any personal information. From 21 December 2001, new privacy laws apply to the private sector as a result of amendments to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), which apply to APIF operations, as the Forum is administered from Australia. As such, we will adhere to the National Privacy Principles (NPPs) when collecting, using, disclosing, securing and providing access to personal information.
